Testo 104-IR is a waterproof (IP65) penetration thermometer combined with an infrared sensor for non-contact temperature measurement. It can be used for a wide range of applications within the food sector from measuring the surface temperature of goods on a pallet through to checking the core temperature of the food. 

Equipped with a high precision 2-point laser and 10:1 optics which show the exact measurement range and allow the user to take rapid and accurate non-contact surface temperature measurements. The 2 in 1 thermometer is especially useful for checking incoming goods and for scanning the surface temperature of individual food products as well as whole pallets. 

The folding probe thermometer is used to measure the core temperature of food products like meat and sausage meat. It generally comes into when the infrared surface measurement are not within the prescribed thresholds. The probe can be folded away when not in use to protect against breakage. 

The food thermometer is immediately activated when the probe sensor is folded down. Simply press a key to start the infrared measurement. The results are presented on a large, easy to read display.
